Nifty Trades Above 15,850 as the Sensex Rises More Than 600 Points Amid Positive Global Cues

In New Delhi:   On Monday, the domestic stock indices are projected to trade higher, following the lead of their international counterparts. After Wall Street made a significant comeback at the conclusion of last week, Asian stocks increased on improved risk sentiment.

Trends on the SGX Nifty pointed to a promising start for the domestic markets. The SGX Nifty Futures, usually referred to as the Singapore Exchange Nifty Futures, increased 187.10 points, or 1.19 percent, to 15,906.


The wide NSE Nifty increased 143 points or 0.92 percent to close at 15,699 on Friday, while the 30-share BSE Sensex increased 462 points or 0.88 percent to conclude at 52,728.

Zomato: As part of its goal to engage in rapid commerce businesses, the online meal delivery platform announced it would purchase Blink Commerce Pvt Ltd (previously known as Grofers) for 4,447.48 crores in a share swap arrangement.


Kutch Copper Ltd;   a division of Adani Enterprises, is establishing a greenfield copper project to produce refined copper at a rate of 1 MTPA (million tonnes per year) over two phases. According to the firm, "the consortium of banks has approved and signed an agreement for the whole debt requirement of 6,071 crores for Phase 1 of the project.


Doctor Reddy's ; Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd said that it had paid $50 million to USA-based Eton Pharmaceuticals, Inc. to buy a portfolio of branded and generic injectable pharmaceuticals.


The board of state-owned Hindustan Copper Ltd. will meet on June 30 to discuss a plan to issue debentures to fund up to 500 crores.


The largest floating solar power installation in India, with a peak output of 101.6 Megawatts (MWp), has been put into operation, according to Tata Power Solar Systems, in Kerala's backwaters. 



Infosys: According to co-founder and chairman Nandan Nilekani, the IT services company gave a capital return of over 24,100 crores (about $3.1 billion) in 2021–2022 with a total dividend of 31 per share and a share repurchase of 11,000 crores.
